What Scooter does best!
Scooter was from my first litter I bred out of Terri and Rolo my UK imports and my first homebred Parson Champion. She had the most fantastic smooth coat. Scooter proved to have the best traits from both her parents, a super front, lovely dark eyes, sound movement, perfectly spanable and standing only 12" tall. She proved to be the best brood bitch and awesome producer. Scooter is one of those dogs that has more than one tale to tell, from her escape at Sydney airport en-route to New Zealand, her 15 days on the run and subsequent litter from Aussie boyfriend to her litter whelped under a dead tree. She was the best little hunter I've ever owned and soon learned how to sort out the possums her in her new home country shortly after arrival. Scooter you will always have a very special place in my heart and a character that will never be replaced.

Terri was my first imported bitch and the foundation of my kennel. My deepest thanks goes to George Simpson for sending me such a wonderful bitch on whom my whole bitch line has been based. Unfortunately I only had 2 litters from Terri before she died from Babesiosis (a deadly tick borne disease prevalent in South Africa). Terri proved to be everything, she was my show dog, my brood bitch, my foundation bitch and my best friend. She was a consistent winner in the show ring and the first Parson to win multiple group placings in South Africa. Her legacy lives on in her daughters, Scooter and Rascal and the many granddaughters and great grandchildren romping in the backyard. Terri was a 13" bitch with a great smooth coat, super shoulder angulation, awesome topline and movement to die for. She was the most fantastic mother with loads of milk a trait which she has passed on to her daughters and granddaughters.
Terri loved to travel with me in the car and was always extremely put out if left behind. The weekend before I lost her, she stowed away unseen in the back of the fully packed ute just before we left for a dog show weekend and was only discovered at the half way stop. That weekend I had the lovely photo taken of her and her 2 daughters that is at the start of my Parson page and as it turned out was the last weekend she was part of my life. Terri you were a very special girl in my life and will never be forgotten.

He was the BIGGEST smiler
Houdini was the perfect show dog right from the start. He was my first ever show dog and was the one responsible for getting me hooked in this crazy hobby :) Houdini was the perfect pet too and was the most patient boy at 3 years old when my twins, Roxy and Shawnee were born. He used to stand with his head on the side of the bed and watch them. Later when they were learning to walk, Houdini was the one who had handfuls of skin gripped in tiny hands while they pulled themselves up against him. He was always patient even later when he became "the horse", luckily that phase passed before he got too old. At 13 years old, just before he was sadly put to sleep, he still had the purest white coat, free of ticking and the darkest, most beautiful black spots. He has bright round eyes, that were a chocolate brown and very kind. Houdini was our fiercest protector which was much appreciated back in South Africa where protection was needed.
